Doddy's stormtrooper was a very nice car, as was DtT's supercharged 1.2

There was also Goldies black punto, which was nice and subtle, and of course no one must forget mine

I agree with the "well documented thread" theory .. but I must or have to mention this, why has it got to be all about speed? and how much a punto is powerfull engine wise? There are loads of stunning and utterly mint punto's on this forum which are under-powered like mine, should mention them me thinks ..
Anyways just to try and create a different discussion or point of view on our beloved puntos!

Exactly. 300bhp is different. Nothing special about stunning under-powered Punto's because there's loads of them.

Debo's list in the OP, I remember pretty much all of those Puntos, some I remember better than others simply because there was more reading material on those cars. Whilst a few of those where a 'legend' of their day MY OPINION sees me disagreeing that all of those are the ultimate Puntos of PSC.
Basially you are saying my opinion on what is a legend on here is wrong becuase only myself and 2 others can also remember those threads gone by and enjoyed the thoughts of reading them. Could I round up 5 or more members to disagree with one of Debo's suggestions and declassify that car's status. No, it's all personal opinion. Until it's a full dictatorship.
If you look, I stated before you post that the reason said Punto's are considered legendary owes a lot to how much is written about them on the forum. You're agreeing with me in fact.

Have yourself a little read through my posts if you didn't properly the first time. I did not say that your opinion is wrong. I said I disagree that it's all opinion and that there is in fact some other reason some of the Punto's are considered legend. We're not actually talking about personal opinion here remember, we're discussing which Punto's are considered "legendary" (not "favourite" as you seem to have got it mixed up with) by general consensus. It can't be considered "legendary" is one person out of 100 likes it. That's called a personal opinion.

You say that a Punto "legend" becomes of how well or the quantity by which it is documented on PSC. Yet, a Punto "legend" is all opinion according to yourself. So, which is it?
