Hey, newbie here....
Just thought I'd leave a quick msg to say to everyone.
Was quite surprised at how many members live beside me in Edinburgh here!
Quick bit of info:
Bought my first car (Mk 2 1.2 16v Sporting) on the 23rd of June 09.
She was down in London, so I flew down, then drove her back up with no incidents on the 450+ mile trip, yet litteraly within the last ten yards before my house, I grounded her on what car only be descibed as "The Ben Nevis Speed Hump"! So needless to say I had to go get a new exhaust fitted the very next day. Then I headed off to the DVLA to get my private reg all sorted out & some b**tard rammed in the near side near wheel arch @ te DVLA car park!
I'll be posting some pics of her on here once I can get a chance to figure out how to do so, but basically, she's got a Ibherdesign Phazer front & rear with unknown skirts. Dodgy bodywork (think the last huy had a few enemies), Uprated CD Player & small speaker array on a DIY parcel shelf in the rear.
Ive already ordered some "Mk2 Black Angel-Eye Projector Headlights", Custom T.D. holder (Designed it myself), White Plasma/Indiglow dial kit, New grill mesh for both front & rear bumpers (Of which I'll be try to remove the old grills & fit the new one's today), Uprated horn (as the old one made more of a farting noise more than anything else :P) & a new original parcel shelf (where I've already re-cut/re-positioned the speakers).
Well, thats all for now, but I'll keep everything updated on her to let folks see how she's coming along...

Welcome, that definately is a huge way to travel for a car but I guess you got it for a good price and it was just how you wanted it to be!
