jailbreaking iphone 3g

i saw a couple people on here had jail broken they iphone etc now i did it couple mouths ago and it didn't like it and had to restore my phone back to factory settings. now im bored again lol and i have backed up my phone this time so if it goes tits up i wont loose anything again

So that jailbreaks it, but doesn't unlock it. What does jailbreaking actually enable you to do?

well basically it lets you have 3rd party apps, MOST are free, and any you pay for are on paypal.

I can customise EVERY sound.
Save youtube ringtones.
Hide apps you cant remove (itunes,contacts,maps,youtube)
I have a video camera! (and the videos aint that bad to be honest)
I have bluetooth and can actually send/recieve things.
Video Ringtones.

theres 1000's of apps on there, its really easy to do, and if you dont like it, just do a restore on your iphone!

actually jailbreaking the phone takes about 20mins max!

i did it last night forgot to come back on and say was really easy! took 5mins i downloaded redsn0w did the job and step by step was easy

your on 3.0 pulse? can you actually change the background, not the lock screen one, the one with the icons on it?

yeh i am on 3.0 and i have a multi changing color background just keeps changing colors behind the apps. i have also removed the app names so its just the icons i thinks cool
