I topped up my oil yesterday...

(...I only used a little bit aswell)

after putting 2 LITRES in, the dipstick was still dry.

4.5 LITRES and it's just about right.

something wrong methinks... used that lot in 4k miles.

    uh huh.

when it's been parked for a week there's no sign of oil on the road under the car so it's either rings or valve stems I think... does oil flow through the HG or is it just water and them big round lumps of metal?
