new to the World of Fiat!!

Now if you asked me a week ago (which you couldn't, bcos i only registered today ) I would have said that i'd never EVER buy a Fiat..

And i haven't..

I have been given one, a 1998 Punto GT(3) Turbo to be specific

This and the Coupe Turbo, would be the only 2 Fiat's i would prefer to own... I'm simply not a fan i'm afraid.

In sayin this, i have previosly owned a 106 gti, which was french, and though French cars are hardly the last word in reliability, it served me for 3 years covering 100,000m with only a failed fuel pump.

So, as it goes, my next door neighbour had a Punto Gt in his drive, in Broom Yellow (got a feeling i might stand out a little), hardly uses it as it was a second car.

So, he was planning to get rid of it, as it costs him money each year (tax, insurance, mot etc.) and i showed interest...

So i'll soon be the owner of a Punto GT, around 70k on the clock, and should have the keys this week at some point..

Looking forward to adding few extra's (though not fussed about getting more power just now)..

Anyway, thats my life story over, looking forward to chatting and sharing info!

I'm a car detailer, and had machine polished and prep'd the whole car for it to go up for sale...

Quite glad, bcos i'm now getting it!

I was reading about DV's and BOV's, so i think i need to find out a little more about them, as it suggested BOV's are the way to go..

Hopefully i can get some top advice on here!

You wait till you drive it mate I bet it will change your mind about FIAT'S.... The GT is a great car to drive..Yes it will let you down but the fun factor is second to none..
