A quick look at the photo i thought it was a vectra lol
Solid German so should last and you cant go wrong with 195bhp
Thankyou please
Ill get some better pics soon
The passat 1.8t, full cream leather, air con, cruise control etc etc
Plans are A4 18" rims, debadged grille, teeny weeny lip spoiler and -30mm
Oh, and a remap to 195bhp

should see more than 195 surely mate but yea nice reliable motors these
Id like a passat estate but i cant think why lol.
I like the idea of subtle styling dropped on euroesque wheels
XploitGT
come on paulo what's it like in comparison to the GT????????
TBH doesnt feel fast, but then I put my foot down in 3rd at 20-25mph and your at 80 not much slower than the gt, so its all about the delivery. Its torquey reall low down, no real lag and smooth.
I assume it uses something similar to the PBV on the GT, giving a huge spike at initial boost then tailing off as you climb through the revs.
An MSD remap (based in Blackpool) will see 195-200 bhp. The Octavia vrs I drove but ended up not buying, with stock 180bhp, felt very quick for what it was, so Im excited for this remap.
The drive is a dream. Smooth, luxurious, quiet, I cant fault it at all.
My basic ambitions with it are not to go overboard. Apart from the remap, A set of 18" VAG rims (S3,4,6 or TT), drop about 30mm, debadged grille and a teeny lip spoiler. Then it will be finished
The only thing now, is that it makes me feel like getting a weekend toy, so I may pick up a £300 GT banger and start a 2 yr resto or something on it (if i can be arsed renting a lockup etc)
if your going for more power before careful of the dual mass flywheel. if you feel the clutch start to slip its more than likey its the flywheel as it cant handle the extra torque.
if it goes replace it with a golf g60 single mass flywheel and a vr6 clutch
