Sporting feels like it's missing a beat.

    Right guys/girls.

Last week suffered from concussion so haven't been able to drive a while and the car has been stood. Since then it's started fine but generally run a bit crap to be honest, feels like when you are accellerating it's a bit jumpy and feels like it's holding back, temperature it runs at seems fine and the same, and plenty of fluids.

Does it sound like some dodgy fuel or crap in the fuel? Just a bit of redex to sort it, or does it sound like somethings on the way out.

Plan is to try spark plugs, oil change, and filter change, with a bit of redex and a tank of fresh fuel.

If it's not those what are the other possibilities, i.e. HT leads etc......? Would a knackered coil pack or something cause it to act strange.

It's just I was parked on a hill earlier and went to start the motor and it took 3 tries as it just had enough oomph there and the starter motor sounded fine it just died out.

if its just been standing there try spraying some brake cleaner inside your leads, coil back, giving pjugs a clean as it could have trapped some moisture and sounds like its missing

We get 1.2 16v punto's come in at work with them missing fairly regular, plugs and leads does the trick 9 times out of 10.

Yeah that's the first thing I'm going to try, it seems to have perked up since I put some fuel and redex in, maybe just a bit of dirty fuel.

No injector light yet though (fingers crossed).
