iphone help - crashed and now backed up.

my phone crashed today and the only button working was the top one, but i couldn't power down.

so i went on to itunes to backup and restore it.

its all working now, all my music is back but i cant workout how to upload all my applications back off my laptop??

im no good with itunes and really cant work out how to do it, i wouldn't mind re-downloading them, but i had to pay for some of them.

    any help??

i think the apps are stored on the iphone and arent backed up onto itunes afaik
however ive been told that if you bought apps for it you can just re-download them and you wont have to pay twice

i cant be 100% though as mine's jailbroken meaning all my apps are free anyway

yeah u can download them for free man, theres a way to sync all ur apps from itunes just configure your iphone by docking the phone onto itunes and go to settings on iphone and select the apps
    walla job done.

or simply go to app store and redownload em
    wont cost a thing.

Do you have all your apps listed in iTunes? If so it sounds like you need to change your sync settings so that it syncs your apps.

will invalidate any warranty/insurance apparently. Thats what i was told as its a 'modification' but i dont see how they would know because if a iphone software update is avaliable you can just restore it to that....
