^ good call. also abarth mats, as well as abarth headlight protectors; which were as per the "fiat punto" accessory, but with a discrete abarth badge in the corner.

from memory, bodykit (skirts / aprons / spoiler). seat covers, 5spoke alloys, badging, exhaust tip, keyring, sunglasses. but it was 13 yrs ago when i was "ticking"...
loads and loads of choice. octavia / fabia, golf / leon, focus / mondeo, 147 / 156. the list goes on. depends on what "size" car you're after firstly.
generally, bigger car = more comfortable...
dont overlook the elx trim, which is also very similar to the sporting - albeit generally 5dr body and without skirts / alloys.

i use norton / heritage for the TR7. there are limitations on mileage and defined conditions with regards to storage etc, but policy equates less than £100 for the year.

mrs dibley had an mx5 (2b) some years ago - good car to drive. for your budget you should get your hands on an early mk2, or a good late mk1.

beau, when fitted, the gt1 mirrors have wires / plugs in place, and i was assured them to be working...just never plumbed them in properly. HTH
