Like the Murphys, I'm not bitter, seaney... :p
Head was skimmed on the two occasions I'm aware of.
Anyway, what's done is done, and this thread was more a generalised moan than a request for help. :p
I have bought another car (still have to...
Of course servicing affects the longevity of any car's engine, but some posters here seem to be making a lot of assumptions, to say the least.
Well, "I" didn't fix it, either time, it was professionally done. If that's the right term. More precisely, it's two head gasket failures and one engine replacement.
I'm at work now (no internet...
...is more than even I can bear.
So, with some regret, it's no more Puntos for me. Or, at least, no more Mk1 Puntos. Did the head gasket woes continue on the Mk 2 and Grande Punto?
My Sporting...
Cheers, guys!
I think they are Rui! I had one before (but yellow), and it was far and away the best bikes I've ever owned, despite their well-known 'issues'! This one had done 18k miles when I...

Thanks guys. If I could get welding and undersealing done for £110 I'd be delighted! I'll take the carpets out and do a bit of an inspection later. And that's good to hear about the joint, ta, beau.
After a lengthy period of unemployment, I have at last managed to find a job. Unfortunately, it's some distance away, so a long commute. It's between 50-60 miles, depending on route. I figure it's at...
Yeah, it is a result; don't get me wrong.
It wasn't me who wrote it off, though. :)
Readers with long memories may recall... ;)
This car, which was written off in September last year; I finally got my cheque for the damage today!
Even then, the cheeky swine have deducted 10%,...
Thanks, Mags.
Sorry to labour the point, but does this mean that HIDs are more effective with angel eyes than stock headlight units, then?
Ta.
If I could butt in: when people talk about Angel Eyes and the like do they have 'proper' HID units fitted?
I wouldn't see much point in going to the trouble/expense of chainging my light units,...
Well I'm pleased to say the car is pretty well fixed up now. I sourced a bumper, headlight, wing and inner wing OK, and a local bodyshop did the rest (plus whatever bracketry etc was needed). Now I...
Motor now fitted and working. :)
But I take it all wiper motors are the same?
Anyway, anyone got one lying around, please?
I'm looking for a front wiper motor. Any chance?
Got mine today, thanks.
Anyone?
Chris Fallon, c'est moi!
Have PM'd address.
Not looking too likely as my car is still literally held together with gaffer tape. I'm waiting on a bumper (have already got wing, inner wing, and headlight). I've been promised one by a poster here...
Preferably black, urgently wanted, please.
I've sourced an O/S front wing, inner wing, and headlight, so the bumper is the main further item I need to patch my car together.
Jan would be better for me, hpoing my car won't still be held together with gaffer tape by then! Not exactly ideal for longish road trips!
Likewise!
