IT's gonna be a better finish, I found out today after randomly wet and drying a bit of the paint made it riduculously smooth so going to wet and dry the whole car tomorrow or friday cause it feels...

Its cost us £20 lol.

Tiny bit of an update :)

Painted the bonnet, got crap pics atm but will get some better ones.
Had a clean of the wheels.
Sanded back a few bits of the paintwork and re-painted it so it looks...

Hhahha. It was dark ok and I'm meant to wear glasses.... the TRE looked like IM ok :-s

All it needs really is the shims sorting out desperately, and the exahust.
However, the handbrake light keeps coming on all the time when driving, when the handbrake isn't on... any ideas?!

Yeah all sorted now thanks :), removed them both and blocked up all pipes, now flutters like a beaut!

Think when they removed the middle box, they didn't weld the new pipe properly so got lovely...

Ahhh I remember now... You drive a red one with Gimp in fridge magnets on the back? I was gonna boot it but its a bit sketchy to drive atm and I got one point left on my license so didn't wanna risk...

yeah cause technically theres two vac pipes?!...

shall we blank both of the pipes off then on the original and just keep the baileys running!?

We want ours to flutter, our old one did do it with just blocking the pipes off, this one wont do it for some reason?!

looked under the afm and its still got the original dump valve on it with the...

Yeah, it does look ratty which is what I kinda like tbh, will look better with the original wheels on it imo.

And no I used B&Q exterior matt black paint haha.

And I've done the bonnet now ;)
