Running omex..I done comp test an its all over place .so checked shims .some are out
checked timing again with laser level an calibrated ecu to alignment with it but no joy ,,
will double check shim size
i have fitted new plugs /leads ,tps sensor ,an moved crank sensor also double check for correct gap
just fitted new engine ,fired it up and runs sweet on tick over an when you rev it, it misfire (sparking in boost pipe ) is like the valve still open ,have double checked timing and is all correct...
dash is out to be sprayed an also clean the wiring up

well from simple engine swap to nearly a full rebuild
here few updates engines all running now sweet but found bit of tin worm ,so sills where patched up where needed ,roll cage has been powder...

the 3.08 might be abit small an sit under the bucket sides :-s , i have loads at 3.70 plus
an skimming the cam box will make my shims smaller ,as i had it set up on a bench but when fitted in car...
i have ,prop try local engine refurbishment place see if i can get some ground up

its was set up on a bench ,but after tlqing the head down there out :shock:
i used a 8mm spanner in the end ground it down an scalloped some out of it so sit under the cam profile
i was going to heat a screw driver up an bend the tip ,will try spanner aswell
what method you use to push the buckets down ,or do i need a shim tool ?? any links
