Perfect fit for a Punto. Ideal tyre size too.

Yeah, you were right. Cheers pal, especially for all the bits of stuff i've had off you. I'd definately like to have a peep at your 16vT conversion once it's done though.
And about the gloating;...
it'll be a bit sad to see it go, but my new one more than makes up for it. Ended up getting £2800 and considering the parkers price guide puts the standard car at ~£800 i'm more than a bit pleased. ...
I know this threads been dead for over 6 months but i had to revive it for gloating purposes. Here's why:
Guess what? None of you were even remotely close ... having turned down a couple...
Might have to wait a few seconds for it to load:

There's no way with just an exhaust system and filter you're up almost 30 bhp on standard. Probably making 100bhp at the most with that lot.
Dunno but you might find answers on here: www.lotus-carlton.co.uk
What you doing in Bury? Picking scott's conversion gear up?
I assume it was wet too?
I'd choose the Zetec-S out of that lot, followed by the punto.
The are some bad ones about. Worst one i've ever seen was last week. It read S DOBSON with that exact spacing and lettering!! None of the characters even slightly resembled numbers, but my best guess...
Looking good. Nice Rota's  They definately look better without the 'gash' centre caps.
you'll beat him easy. Those aren't even VTEC engines. Although i think the coupe 0-60 figure is 10.2 coz they are multipoint injection.
No sorry dude. Don't fancy my chances of selling it with no wheels on.
Where is that by the way? Was searching for it the other day.
I knew you'd know what happened to it. So it's not simple's? Sure looked like it; same wheels; think it had the same splitter too, although maybe not. I'd be gutted if someone did that to my car....
In 'The Swan' pub car park in Tottington. Looked like it had been driven/pushed front first into the bollard it was leaning against?!? What happened?
^Sounds like the coupe wheels aren't doing you any favours either.
Those coupe wheels aren't exactly light.
Might be too big? Try making them smaller.
205-40 R17 and 60mm
I used 3mm spacers. 5mm might be ok too though?
If your still stuck for wobblies try rochford tyres and I know it says you can only buy them when you purchase a set of wheels but if you ring them...
This gives the weights of 7x15 and 8x17 Hockenheim's:http://www.wheelspecs.com/specs/wheelmodels/413
so i guess the 7.5x16 will be more or less inbetween these (~21.3lbs)
Yeah, definately right about the doors.
