it is the same cam as in the other engine yes. and as for the respray the only bit that is still red is in the engine bay and wheelwell.
i did have another cam from a diff engine i was going to...
there called F-connectors m8 about 50p each from my local place. just get a screw type 1 its a 2min job to fit them

it does fit as i have seen 1 myself although the main boostpipe had to come out the front of the bonnet and down the front of the car.

as above you need to tap into the blue wire and run it to the back of the dials to the bottom right plug(nearest to driver door side) and its the 1 on the end next to the red and blue wire.
then...
driveshafts/brakes pas rack(unless u planning on not having pas)
abs unit radfan might be a few more but cant think atm

theres a few water pipes at back of the inlet manifold.
theres the metal pipe that comes from water pump/heater matrix pipes and turbo water feed and return
the last thing i did was swap the engine (2 weeks ago)
next thing to do is sort my missfire out and check everything over ready for mot
