Thanks :)
Should be a simple question, I did try searching but couldn't find the answer.
Which side is the longer driveshaft? (Just the shaft itself not including the half shaft)
Thanks in advance
More power but also more lag as said. Sounds insane compared to the stock VL7 though ;) not a 100% direct fit but nothing overly complicated (exhaust elbow, custom oil feed & return)
They're magnetic so they can collect a lot of debris up. Might be worth cleaning and painting the crank pulley while you're at it.....
You can test out all the loom without removing it
Have you shed any light on it yet? Feel free to call if you want any help
Interesting to know but without the associated fault codes its worthless information :(
Sorry mate were running majorly behind theres been so much traffic on the motorway
The icv on mine buzzes as soon as I turn the ignition on it's perfectly normal. I bet its something way simpler.
Did you try ringing me earlier?
What sort of help do you need? I'm not from up your way but I may be travelling up that direction thursday to collect something.
I also pm'd you about the bits you were after
If you're going to use a GT1 engine you really need to get the GT2 ecu for correct fueling/ignition timing unless you're going to have it remapped properly
Yeah as said the icv's are all interchangeable with any ecu
Their entitled to their opinion no matter how wrong they may be lol
Theres 3 types of ecu but only two engines, the first generation ecu not having the inmobiliser.
Also in answer to the...
As such there is no "GT2" engine, there is only either the early low compression (176A4000) or later high compression (176B6000) engine.
The GT2's can have either depending on their age
Quality lol. Eager beaver :p
152,000 on the original engine and still running trouble free
