Basic sand blasting will give the same finish to be honest. Done it with my latest engine and everything comes up great but getting rid of all the sand out of the ports is a complete nightmare.

I never really experimented with positions but in order to fit a large turbo on the front of the 20vt you need room in front of the radiator,

That meant sitting the engine as far back as possible...

Chassis legs don't need cutting, I had to modify the punto's subframe so driveshafts could fit through. On full lock to left the wheels will rub the gearbox.
