Looking for abit of advice regarding my timing belt.

I have a X reg (2000) 1.2 8v punto, which has 46000 miles on the clock.

I realise that the 8v engine is a safe engine if the belt snaps, but...

I have a 2000 reg 1.2 8v punto, and its developed a strange noise.

When im accelerating from 1st gear to 2nd gear, and then to 3rd gear...the cars seems to make a "whizzing" noise? It sounds like...

Cheers mate, Thats what i thought.

Its only really the radiator thats been pushed right back, against the engine. Its going to need a new front bumper and headlamps, and a slam panel.

I ran into the back of someone yesterday morning, and ended up with this damage:

My Punto's going in for its MOT next month. Its a MK1 55s, so I was just wondering if there is any known problems with this model..that might cause it to fail the MOT

I have this prob with my mk1 55s. After taking the motor off, and putting it back on...it keeps making a buzzing noise as soon as the ignition is turned? Any idea's?? I have tried a second hand motor...
