Had the new black PVC hood fitted today and looks much better then a stapled in sheet of plastic for a rear window. Needs to be left with the hood up for 2 weeks for the it to stretch and settle...

Changed the standard cabriolet steering wheel, with a black leather Punto GT2 one complete with airbag, straight swap, just had to rewire the horn wiring and job done.

just an update

think since my last post, ive painted and fitted the mirrors, fitted Fiat Coupe leather seats, hydrolic bonnet lifters, alpine 6 speaker system and 8" sub and 16" seat ibiza Cupra...

Ive got the rear bench from the coupe, so taking the lather off that to custom trim the back. cant do everything in black then leave the rears in blue :lol:

Fitted a Alpine SXE 6-Speaker system, sounds better, just need to find a cheap 8" sub for some bass. Also fitted a Veba reverse sensor kit, imo looks pretty factory :)

you saying that, i think we are going to change them for some 16" black 5 spokes with 195\45 tyres, should make for a better ride and make it look less like an ant on stilts.

Doesn't let me have access to that link. Was thinking of changing them for some black 16" wheels, the 17's look too big.
