Genius, thanks for that.
I'd imaging we'll have a heap of cars here running MS soon then

Could we have a sub forum for megasquirt?
Something like:
Megasquirt How-to (locked for MS users)
&
Megasquirt Discussion (open)
How to could be locked so info can be added by people that have it, easier to keep tidy and we can add how to's for building the extra bits.
and Discussion for all the chit chat?
Adi
I was going to suggest a megasquirt FAQ sticky but thats abit better from Adi i think. Im buying up soon too!
Thank you. This one ought to be pretty straightforward. Here's a quote for you.

The wideband oxygen sensor is a very useful tuning tool. Almost all dyno shops have wideband sensor systems they can install temporarily when tuning your car on the dyno. It's almost essential to have a wideband if you are tuning a standalone yourself, particularly on a turbo engine. With a wideband sensor, you can also run at closed loop under boost and use the sensor to target a rich air-fuel mixture to keep you out of detonation. Megasquirt works with most popular aftermarket wideband oxygen sensor controllers. We carry the Innovate Motorsports line. You can find pictures of the gauges on our website.
Wideband Options—
LC-1 without gauge $199 (you can still view real-time AFR and datalog AFR through your laptop)
LC-1 with Westach analog gauge $258
LC-1 with DB digital gauge $289 (available in red or blue)LC-1 with G2 or G3 analog gauge $289
LC-1 with XD-16 digital gauge $399
LM-2 data logger with one O2 sensor $479
LM-2 data logger with two O2 sensors $669
I think this will give you a pretty good start in the right direction. This quote is good for 30 days. For custom orders like this one, we will need to set this up via email or telephone. We typically have a week or so of lead time for building custom units. I'll just need a shipping address and a complete list of what you are planning to order to get you a full shipping quote. We can take many different forms of payment - we prefer PayPal or accepting a credit card over the phone, but we have other options as well. Let me know what works for you. Please let me know if you have any further questions; I'll be happy to answer them and get things squared away before you order.
All sounds good. Are you going to place an order?
MS1357-C $335 Assembled Megasquirt-I with V3.57 I'd say drop down to the older version V3 as it is easier to repair and has less surface mounted components also a little cheaper!
PCBMOD_x357-VR_IN: Jumper unit for VR Ignition Input $0 This is a tiny solder jumper on V3?
MOD_1357IGN2: Dual Ignition Outputs through BIP373 coil drivers $54 Extra coil driver is less than $10 to buy??
MOD_1357-BOOST: Boost control mod-kit installed $25 Seems fine as the boost control mod kit is also less than $10
JimStim-C $88 Assembled JimStim diagnostic board Not sure what you need this for, the stim is the thing you use for testing the ecu as you build?
MSHarness $65 12' wiring harness
GM _BoostSol $24 Boost control solenoid
GMBoostPiggy $14.50 6" pigtail connector for boost solenoid
IATwPiggy $22.25 IAT Sensor38NPT-]Not needed

TuneCable $5.50
6' DB9 tuning cableUSB-2920 $20 (Only needed if your laptop doesn’t have a true DB9 port)
Saw no mention of the idle control!
Subtotal without wideband-- $661.25 £370 ish
