The 16vt engine as found in the infamous Lancia Delta Integrale and Fiat Coupe is becoming a popular conversion for the GT. While the original 1.4 8v engine can produce truly excellent power, there is no denying that the increase in torque from the long stroke 2 litre engine totally changes the driving experience.
It is a serious powerplant, and capable of very serious power. Our Stage 1 remap can achieve an increase of 35-40bhp & 60-65lbs/ft, but for those that would like to take it to the next level then 300-350bhp is easily achievable. Of course we don't stop there, 400-500bhp requires a little more dedication to the task, but in a Punto this would give Veyron equalling power to weight!!!
The one thing you do not have to change is the ECU, the Weber-Marelli is extremely poweful and easily the equivalent of modern day stand-alone systems.
