Santa Pod 24th March 2012

After Andy was having problems with his car doing work on it overnight. i decided to have a drive down in my van at 6am.

Set off at 6am and had to do a 8-9 mile diversion on the m18 due to it being closed.

I arrived at pod at around 9am and had to que up for 20 mins to get in.

Met up with some of the forum guys and these are the pictures and videos i took of the day.

and the lad in the yellow one was shaun butler, he was with me and pete, he did amaizing to get a 13.4 on a gt2554r and with standard inlet manifold

Lol i had to download something to batch resize. I didnt get that many photos to be honest.

Also if youve an imageshack account download the program for multi upload. Its super easy its just drag and drop and then click upload.

Then you just ctrl v the links. Makes things easy for many pics

My mate went click happy, he has about 500+ so called professional snaps (he has one of those fancy cameras with a ruck sack)

I also have a vid of the pole dancing competition, the girl got her boobies out, so I had to hit record.

Shame I couldn't see you lot on the Saturday.

Already done, I haven't heard back from you so I think you're having a bit of alone time.

My mate will be uploading all the pictures to his FB page, so in return just like his page so he gets a few followers.

What a good weekend, it was nice meeting more gt owners ( shame there wasn't more). Took my gt on the strip for the first time and was great it was I shame I could find 3rd and kept putting it in 5th (nerves) excuses lol. I was disappointed I could only manage 16secs even when I got it into 3rd. But had a really good time. As soon as I get my EBC fitted (thanks to smallpaul for a great bargain) I'll be down the pod agen.

Oh yeah and Paul's 2litre gt was an animal and looking mint.

Did you see the close ups of the faded panels? Really irritating me now.

It took us 20mins to get off the grass, the car was scraping until genius steward got me some wooden planks to get out.

I didn't take it down the strip, I was too busy admiring the cars and girls (well a select few)

I think Paul's (Aki-Tam..) is the best GT I've been out in 15 years. Fairly solid car given its ages and it just works after repeated (ab)use.
