my 1999 punto gt misfires on boost only when my car has been wet wtf?? after a few days of the car bein out of the rain its dries out and runs beautifully, anyone got any ideas?
theres no dash lights on and i have checked the coil pack ht leads and sparkys?
im gonna screeeeaaaam lol
AFM cannot measure air from saturated air?
try a MAF, taouxis has a spare bosch one he might sell you
Do you have a vented bonnet?
no vented bonnet, but i do have a crappy cone air filter on maybe the MAF needs cleaning :)
Change the filter clean the afm new plugs new leads go from there.. Maybe a new fuel filter

Try doing a blink test see if there's any storred faults mate.
will do a blink test and change all the vacuum hoses, i will beat this lol
it has fixed its self! 8-[ running smoooooth now :lol:

Blink test done and came up with crank sensor fault sooooo pulled it out cleaned it no change so I need a new one... Might have one laying around somewhere ..... To be continued lol
All done and back on the rd, changed the coil an ht leads! There was a dodgy spark plug and it was stuck in! ripped all the threads out when i finally got it out! its been rethreaded and its Runnin smooth now happiest person alive !!!

If if happens on boost maybe could be your coil pack breaking down , I had that on mine only on boost but happened in all weather lol
