Maybe not on Ben's, but I've seen and done it myself.
Show us then? As im sure Ste told me different at the time.
I don't have to prove anything to you.
I'm with Dan on this one. We had to use an allen bolt in the centre, between 2 & 3. It was physically impossible to use FIAT stud and nuts. Not that it caused a problem. You can't use the original FIAT heatshield with the POTR or any tubular manifold for that matter, either, but this is part of modifying - compromise. If you're clever enough it's not difficult to fabricate a new heatshield anyway.
I retract my previous comments about the damaged manifold we've been looking at here. I did not know it has been through the mill and back twice over!!
Saw a 916 Senna other day Matt, my god it looked the bollocks!
Ste told me he or the guy that had fitted it before had used an allen bolt in the centre hole, so stop arguing for the sake of arguing.
On Ben's we used a a rnage of different sized studs, bolts, allen bolts and different allen bolts. The gashest part was that the inlet needed to slide down the studs at the same time, simpley Gash beyond all gashness.
I bet it did!! Just been having a conversation with a guy at work about Ducati's - how bizarre.. this nice weather isn't doing me any favours. I'm off to bike school in the summer if it stays like this
I think it was a bubble wrapped one though, was waiting for the twin termignoni's to blow the hair off my head but he was just pottering, and on some amazing roads in Yorkshire, tut, just tut!
