You are starting to sound like me, I was thinking the same thing. You must be getting old

Debo has been like that since i have been on here lol.
Such sound advice though, im only 20 but i find myself these days telling people younger than me not to waste money on **** and put it in a savinggs account and buy a house when they can.
I am now renting and wish that i had saved every penny i have ever had (ye right lol) and could buy a house now rather than shitting it away into someone elses pockets.
Nice car though Beau, still think your mad.
I'm from a different school of thinking....do it while you still can. After that it's all mortgage mortgage mortgage and bills bills bills then you might have a bit of money to do it when you're 40, by which time you're nearly dead.
If you spend wisely you can always recoup a fair chunk of the money and "down-size" car if you need to free up some dollah.
Saying that, it's easy for me to say as I earn considerably more than the average 21-year-old and could afford a mortgage alongside a nice car or two or a big project, I just don't want one yet.
Affording a mortgage and paying the bills are two different things, trust me
After blowing the best part of £15k on an old Punto, I am quite fortunate to have been able to buy a house in the current era and still drive around in a Type-R.
Luckily when I was spending wrecklessly, I was on more money than I am now!! I do wish I hadn't bothered, and that I'd saved more - purely because that would've made buying a house easier and not so much of a stretch as I'd have had more of a deposit so my repayments would've been less... but ho-hum, hindsight is a wonderful thing 8-[
Well of course, that's the idea. I have had a few nice cars along the way, so I would hardly say I'd deprived myself of fun. I still have a house now though
Moral of the story, is just be careful with your spending - just think long and hard before you spend your money on silly things. If you really want a 330ci for example, at least wait until you can insure one for a reasonable sum.. I wouldn't begrudge anyone owning a nice car, but 3k on insurance is just a waste IMHO. :!:
Money, Money, Money....
Who gives a ****
Nice car Beau. Enjoy it.
How old are you now beau, 3k still seems like a shed load?
I was looking at m3's and quotes wern't much past a grand and im only 21?
