Crank, Flywheel balanced together?
I think so mate. I'll make sure I ask when I take it again..
That would be my guess, that the flywheel isn't operating in harmony with the crank. That combined with reused flywheel bolts that may have stretched a little. If the thread isn't perfect mate between the crank and the bolt, doesn't matter how much loctite is used, the tiniest of wobble from the flywheel and will break the seal, imo
I agree. Make sure it's balanced together and for the cost it's not worth not using new bolts imo.
@PuntoGTturbo
If you need a very good company which balance engine internals perfect let me know. They balance crank, crankpulley, flywheel and clutch together. Costs are 186€.

Thanks andre, all my lightening and balancing work are done for £0 :) I trust the guy who does the work.
Yeah, I will get some new bolts this time.
Hehe, thats cheaper mate!! Hopefully he balanced not the first time ;-)
What grade lock tight you use
balance it in one job with the flywheel and the clutch mounted together as they are normally in their place
if you can add the triggerwheel too to this combo
You won't understand a word but what he says is that correct balancing is in 2 steps..
1. the crank alone
2. crank pulley - crank - flywheel - clutch (from one end to the other)
