Search on how to do a blink test pal this will tell you what the injector light is complaining about. Could be AFM lambda sensor coolant temp sensor and multiple other things. Best of doing a blink test first.

it comes on when it chooses, could be while im just driving normally, then smells rich which id rather have than it running lean.
i bought the car from devon and it was apparent that the fuel gauge wasnt the only problem.
just trying to rule out what it could be as read a few previous threads and that seemed to be the problem with the majority of them
okay mate ill get that done asap, thanks for the quick reply im hoping its not gonna have a list rather than just the problem haha
Beau I don't even know you but I feel bad for u what has brad said about it???
If only he had stuck to 300, I reckon it's the last 3bhp that have tipped it over the edge!
On a serious note that's really bad luck for you Beau. If I were you I think I'd be stripping it and getting my cash back out of it. Bit of a ballache but probably the best option as even if you source another block, get it machined to suit and rebuilt I suspect there will be more failures to come down the line.
Thanks for your concerns people, I decided that the additional cost of fixing it plus the respray costs it just wasn't worth it
Brad feels bad so ah well, breaking it is for the best i feel
So that's another gt gone forever!!!!! :(
another one bites the dust :(
sounds like it had some fun though eh :)
IMHO spark advance was tooo agressive and engine was on the detonation limit - this is why this 1.4litre was over 300BHPs, torque comes from spark advance timing
in the yellow PGT we had changed the engine twice in a half year for the same reason, cylinder wall broken same like this
this is an common open deck block failure, with highly tuned engine
