when i double click a folder it goes to search and doesnt open it.

Take pc and piss on it.
Thats what i am about to do soon.
Followed by a swift flight out the window.
Try
Tools,
Folder options
General > Restore defaults.
If that doesnt work try
Tools,
Folder options,
and fiddle around in those settings...

Jlames, go to tools>folder options> file types
It should say
(NONE) File Folder
also in the view tab
click 'reset all folders'
still the same, when i right click search.... is in bold, and open isnt anymore :cry:
