even when brakes fail you should still be able to stop the car even from 60. you should have kept your foot planted on the brakes. i drove my recovery once when the brakes failed and it could still outbreak my punto lol

I would say unlucky but lucky your got away with no major injurys, i bet the landing from your airbourne adventure scrubbed off a fair bit of speed, did you not try andwhack it into 2nd gear and use the handbrake at all?

Suppose now you dont need to tidy up that scuff at the back end it had...

Hope your not in to much of a mess for long though Chief!

Superman - Was over before it started.....did think about handbrake but was on full lock, and didnt really fancy rolling it (knowing the greatness of puntos handling:P)
Nope.....me and my dad are swapping the boxes over from my gt1 engine and swapping the loom over in the next few days and putting it in my red shell.....so weather permitting, should be back on the road by the weekend

Danmotty - I know, my bumper shatterd to pieces, ripped 2 hoses open, flatten my 2" pipe work and still alls it gets is a scratch on the mounting point!!lol
Luckily a girl i work with has a bf who happens to own a flat bed trailer and pickup truck......9 hours and £60 after the accident she was home:P
