cool mate, good old active8. been one of the best boilies mainline have ever bought out. what sort of boat you mean rowing or bait boat. as i have a bait boat but very rarley use it although if you want to go long distance or under trees/snags then they do become very usefull.

I bought a copy of the AT standard bait boat, and then set about the daunting task of buying and fit all the parts.

I like fishing to features, and the lake i fish the most has a very snaggy area and i want the boat for making fishing this spot a little easier. Obviously things aren't going to badly at the mo, but i think there plenty of fish in there that aren't falling for/attracted to the single bait method which is easist to present at the snags.

Which boat have you got mate?

    Tom

Not to mention the chill factor - getting away from everything else in life, no stress, no worries... just chill

got an angling technics bait boat. iv only really done fishing to visual features so far, ie trees islands etc. im sure in the future when i fish the bigger waters i will have learn more about fishing under water featurs. ie depths, bars, platos. hopefully might get a bit of experience at this when i go to france in june.

Of to france hey, you lucky git!

If i dont get to go this year i will next for sure.

    Have you been before?

Which lake are you off to?

Are you hiring the gear or is your set-up up to the job?

Re the boat - I use a marker and spod rather unsuccessfully in open water, which is one of the reason for making one. I had always wanted to make one, for the challenge if not anything else.

I will have to get some pics up whe its done.
