The police will be able to get the address details from his ISP unless he was really clever and has covered his tracks (pretty unlikely) other than the police doing it though I do not believe there is any other way.

I don't think the police themselves will get too involved but should be able to get the address details for you from the ISP (probably best done via a solicitor) so you can take him to a small claims court, but believe me pressing charges in this manner does not guarantee you much, I'm not going to say why here incase he is reading as I don't want to give him any ideas, but may post in the members area if required
