    Been racing y0!

Been at the Donny show with Cruisenotts all weekend, car wasnt running like it could, and never intended to go on track, after watching the cruisenotts lot go round and take some mint photos if i do say so myself i wanted to go but the Apexi was holding boost at 8psi so no performance!!!

After gettin up this morning with an awful strongbow endused hangover this morning, think someone spiked my drink with viagra as i had a hard on all night and for over an hour after id woke up!!!

Heading for the cruisenotts stand with HRG, we stumbled on CN going for the track brief, got bullied and decided id take the Apexi off, put my suspect bleed valve on go out on the roads just outside Donington Park and set it up reasonably and go on track if it worked, it didnt so proceeded to put the Apexi on but swap a few hoses round, it worked took it out fast as a flying **** up and down the local roads, set it to 17psi to be safe, just missed the briefing for the track session with the guys

So went and took some photos for themon the track, then went for the briefing wmet Rob and Titch in thier CRXs borrowed some helmets and went out, i never looked at what the other guys in my session were as i some how ended up at the front of the que, the safety car led us on a scouting lap then BANG, off we went.

It was Amazing, Harry been my watchman as a camera was on the rearview mirror. spent the first 2-3laps taking it easy and finding the line i was happy with, and letting about a dozen evos/scoobys and a beetle RSI race car through. Then ended up behind a new Fez ST, he was alot quicker in the courners but he had to let me through going down the craner curves, and then left him for dead.

A scooby was in the gravel and when he came back on he was a complete nightmare i got out his way as quickly and safely as i could but he still nearly went off again, a few times!!!

Its all on video and im fetching it off Rob later on, had such a good time, best bit of money ive ever spent, however my brakes are totally ****ed!!! my once yellow calipers look like they have been on fire, they faded on the last lap, otherswise id of had to pull into the pitlane... The car handled better then i though, i wasnt near the limit i dont think, i had litterally bald rear tyres and the fronts have took a serious battering too, want me some coilovers asap i think.

Serious fun and really got me wanting more, new anmd maybe bigger brakes, and some buckets, maybe strip it out into a useable track slag.

Also, brilliant weekend in total, thanks to some of the crusienotts folks for making a real effort, the Xploit was the attention of quite a few on the stand and a few pro photographers took some snaps

how can you possibly blame the owner for having his car stripped? guy must be gutted.

just shows the amount of scumbags that go to these shows these days, hence why i dont go to any.
