    spraying

    right im going to have a go at respraying a passenger side door for my punto because somebody ran into me and ruined mine
    i brought a door from somebody the same colour but he ripped the rubbing strip off and the paint has come off with it so needs respraying so what is the best way to prepping it i have access to a spray gun and all that as im unsure i would post some pics but camera is broke and im waiting to get a new one sorry any help i would be greatful thanks

    Filler it, sand it all down then spray.

    Ill be suprised if you get a good enough colour and quality match though.

    Take it to a bodyshop.

    You'll end up having to anyway when you make a crap job of it.

    done plenty refurbs of alloy wheels and sprayed them good enough and also wagons and stuff what makes you think il **** it?

    cause your asking for advice!

    generally if your asking for advice on how to prep and spray things it means you have no experiance

    If you want to do it, then practice on some other panels, that you dont need first

    And as with all spraying TAKE YOUR TIME

    im fine at spraying got the colour and practised on spare door all i asked was how is the best way to prep it as i was unsure but il have a go but if it goes wrong il be down the bodyshop
