    It's down at the minute.

Server problems, and nobody really knows what's going on.

Most folks have decamped to fiatforum.com

    Chris,

Yes i'm from there. But also from here.

The server (or host? i'm not very good at computer speak) has gone down and as far as i'm aware nobody can get in touch with them to get it sorted out. They're not answering phone or emails.

I think the admin team are on the case. I dont have an email address for anyone on the admin team apart from @fccuk addresses.

Have a look on fiatforum for updates.

    Hi Folks,
Just an update on what's going on....
The site went offline Thursday evening. I've since been trying to contact the hosting company but they've yet to respond to me despite multiple emails and trouble tickets raised on their support site.
To say I am absolutely disgusted with them is the understatement of the year.
I've also been trying to get in touch with the company that actually hosts the servers but they refuse to speak to me due to privacy issues.
Anyway, at the moment I have no idea when and indeed if we will get back online.
If anyone has any information on the current whereabouts of Beamhost or their parent company Coveria then let me know. If you know anyone that works there, tell them there are a couple of thousand angry people looking for them.
Also, if you have any hosting with them, get your data off now, they are a bunch of cowboys.
    Cheers,
    Paul
I think it's more than likely we'll be moving hosts regardless, but I think we'll be looking at a Tier1 provider, I've had enough of resellers and virtual companies. It's going to cost us a lot more but hopefully it'll mean 100% uptime, better speed and real 24x7x365 support. At the moment though, I'm just crossing everything and hoping we get the forum back.
If anybody knows anything or can help in any way, can they give me a shout.
    Ta.

this is why i have left PSC hosted with a decent UK based host.

Nethosted have been great to us. any problems, quickly fixed, of which there hasn't been many, and they reply to emails etc quickly.

we pay a bit more than other but get a much better service for it.
