Thanks. Yeah the metal is a bit OTT for this job. I originally bought it you make a frame for my Punto chassis to sit on without the suspension so it had to me strong. It's not too heavy to move about. The seat unbolts fair easily and I'm planning on fitting two wheels to one end that will be on the deck when you lift the other end.
I had a spare seat purely by chance. I sold the original bucket seats for my car as I was looking at some new ones. However the deal fell through and I was left without any seats. So I was looking for a single cheap seat on eBay as a temporary one whilst I built the car (in case I needed to move it once it was running) until I bought the seats I want which are about £700 per seat. But I came across someone selling a pair really cheap as they are a bit tatty and snapped them up. so I only needed one for the car.

I have been planning to build something like this, and I have all the stuff to put in it, just havent bought the steeltubing yet.
I never do any gaming, but if I want to take the Uno Turbo roumd Nürnurgring, I guess it will be good to "know" the track a bit...
My new Fanatec GT2 wheel is coming next week so I'll be able to finalise the position of wheel and pedals.
I guess you can kinda learn the layout of the track. Just not the speed.

Goodies
I can finish the wheel and pedal mounts now.

Well I have to completely redesign the wheel mount as it didn't give much room for your feet as the pedals I used to begin with were a lot smaller.
So this is where I am:
Just need to finish bolting the checker plate down and put the legs and wheels on. Then it's time to race

Looks good but i think it would be better with a Logitech wheel with the gear shifter
Why? This is better than the Logitech and they don't work on Xbox (this one works on PS3, Xbox and PC).
