Cool I wired marks in for him ..showed him what's what .you can go lancia route .but I havnt looked into it
Has been done tho .
Cost me 25 qwid for my set up found a gt in the scrappies
not for me though lol
mark off the turbo collective let me have a look at his because i'm wanting more power and the punto gt set up seams to be the most cost effective way.
i'm still not completely sure how to do it but i'm going to give it ago now the uno's all tucked up in bed over the winter.

thats pretty cheap, i'm not that lucky lol
i want to keep it as a 1.4 but apparently i can't remap an uno turbo ecu hence the punto way.
i'm really hoping it's not going to be that hard to do cause i want the car back on the road as soon as poss really.
is it ok with you if i get stuck can i ask for some advice?
i don't suppose anyone knows if my old punto gt is still alive. P191 HFL i think was the reg number. it was broom yellow and had the full abarth kit from new.
could anyone tell me please what parts from this list i do not need if they are already fitted to a mk2 uno turbo?
gt cam pulley, oil pump pulley and crank pulley (not sure if these are the same as a mk2 UT)
gt water-pump (not sure if these are the same as a mk2 UT)
gt center drive-shaft and mount
coilpack mounting bracket (not sure if this would have to come from a different car like a tipo or something)
thanks
I think your best bet would be to pm Dean as I believe he is doing the same conversion.
Plus he knows both cars inside out.
Gt an mrk2 are the same Pulleys
I used oe pump as I had a v machine in my trigger wheel .mark used Gt pump .
I also made a bracket for my Gt coilpack .sure mark used a sporting coil pack an mounted where the dizzy is
ok thanks guys.
i'm actually looking forward to doing this even if it may be a little out of my depth
