Looks like it has potential, good luck with it.
Luckily for us northerners houses up here are a fair bit cheaper than houses down there.
Thanks very much.
He must be doing it all himself then eh? There is alot of work to be done here, but overall it shouldn't take longer than a year.

The builder has been tonight, had a look at the plans.
The scaffolding is going up this week and he is starting the demolition a week today
Demolition? Guessing it's being knocked down and having a whole new build?
No no, it's got a twin chimney breast at the minute which we're getting rid of, and some internal brick walls that we're doing the same, and the roof has got to come up and get chopped into bits and turned into fire wood for the log burner.
You will have to let me know what insulation you want and I will see what I can do and what's lying about
Mind you I have just though you're a bit bleedin' far LOL.
That's very kind of you, Mr insulation delivery man
Glad its all taking over buddy, looking forward to seeing this undertaken. Once the wedding is out the way and ive bought my new car of choice i will start little projects on the house. Nothing as big as what your taking on tho
So, works started earlier than I thought! I drove past this morning to find the builders already on the job. They had a weeks work cancelled so could start mine earlier....
Obviously didn't have my camera with me....
Popped back at dinner time....
And after work...
The rest of the chimney stack will be down tomorrow, as well as the ceilings and some of the retaining walls ready to be rebuilt hopefully.
Cracking on now
