Them changes are gonna lose members guarenteed making the project section members only and for sale section im sorry but whoever thought of that seriously clueless about running a forum. I agree what your saying we need more paying members basically an think post and pm limiting is a good idea but the others lol wake up thats gonna push a good few people away. I think if your going to keep all them rules membership needs to stay at £5 as some people just wont pay more. I mean to be honest im quite happy with the forum as it is but thats just my opinion. I think them new rules will make it better in some ways but will be a downfall in others and reckon that we will lose a lot of members because of it. Anyway thats what i think

Tbh, the plan is to sift out the wheat from the chaff anyway - so losing a few members isn't going to be the end of the world. Will you be joining Jamie?

Jamie I think you're in the minority with that opinion. You're obviously saying you're not willing to pay £10 for a whole year to use the perks of this forum.

90% of the paying and none paying members who have aired their views on this have a positive attitude and can see the good that will come of it.

You must run loads of forums do you? Clearly we "don have a clue how to run a forum". Must mean that all the other forums I use that you have to pay to be a member are run by clueless people as well.

I'm all for the changes but my only concern would be the project threads, newbies won't know about previous or current projects and wouldn't it be better if non payed members cant post in project threads but can only see the 1st 3 pages? This will entice them more to splash out some cash as they would want to follow it to the current state?

If it's a bad idea, be gentle lol

It would be good if people could get a sneak peak but dunno how that could be possible. On Rtoc you have to pay straight away and that turns more people away I think because you dont get a 'sum up' of the forum. That is 25 pounds though but even so I cant think of many people who would just gamble a tenner without knowing much about psc. Does that make sense??

So another forum for **** hatcbacks is £25 and people are still suggesting £5 is too much, some people are truely water tight, and most are from the south where i thought everyone was rich and famous!

You get the rest of a massive forum as a sneak peak, i think keeping something nice and sweat for those that contribute is better for those who pay, who are more important than those who dont.

Projects section has only been there for 3-4 years max, and the forum was just fine before it anyway.

Il be joining dont worry about that. But about the project threads people log on here just to have a good read of what other people are doing to there car because its interesting to them and thats what make people get into the punto modding scene which then intern will make them wanna join more and be part of a group but with them having to pay just to see them sorry don think its a good idea. And the for sale section some people only join up to buy the parts they need or sell parts whats the harm in that? Im sorry maybe saying clueless about running a forum was a bit harsh as i can guarentee your probably better than anyone else who would run it. Just some decisions do seem silly and i dont agree with them but everything else i agree . Oh well its my opinion and not gonna change the way you run the forum as these opinions are coming from an unpaid member anyway lol probably just take no notice.
