change all the vac pipes, then see how it goes
Hi the gage stays on 10 even when u turn the boost gage right up it doesnt go up. Ever one says iv got an air leak but nt got a clue about it at all
change all the vac pipes, then see how it goes
An air leak could for example be a split pipe.
Be careful adjusting that valve up because thats one sure way to ruin the turbo and/or engine.
It could be one of many things, as has been said previously and with all due respect, you either need to seek help from someone a bit more in the knowledge, or do some homework on google!
What other things could it be other than pipes iv not got a clue about these cars thats y im on here on tring to find sum one to help me
Check the pipes first, one step at a time.
Wot other things could there be tho there is a noise from turbo so mit have a leak there im hoping to getsome one to have look so if its not them then I can get him to look were ealse to look if pipes r ok
i tok my boost control off today and the boost went up a little bit i tried to see if there woz any leaks but didnt find any so going to have to find sum one that no wot they r looking at and go over it and see if they can find any think other wise im lost with it can any one help me plz
Whats this noise you say the turbo makes, what does it sound like?
If you jack the car up and get underneath you will see the route all the pipes take from the turbo, the rubber hoses will be getting old and may have a split in them. Have a good look over them all
Iv spoken to some one if I take my boost control valve out and just put the to pipes to each other the boost goes up abit but if I get a new control will it oost better with both pipes put bk in boost control be
Might do, might not. Weve still not established the root of the problem. And just to note, bleed valves generally dont go faulty....
