Is it 260 odd with higher boost and NOS? thought about sticking the NOS on the mint but i must behave myself

Its 211bhp at low boost 10psi.

Higher boost was never measured so its an estimate at 20/30bhp + the n2O. Might not be that but its a nice boast...

Standard weight is 1070 KG so you can't have that edge
The old man has experience on his side
Well done thats a good result from that Italian 30 year old doorstop Hope it holds together

They are very old! Originally they were purple. I bought a refurbished kit from ebay. Came with a nice alloy tank.
TBH I very seldom need the nos - I used it plus high boost to flatten a type R who was being a jerk.

    Well done for spotting them...

I'm not a fan of bonnet vents but bits were starting to melt and these fitted. You need to seem them for real, perfect fit.

Expriance may come with old age but so do slow reactions, much like if i'd had 3 pints

Its not doing to bad, if i fitted the nos i would be on it all the time for the thrill and cant afford to keep doing that! Did you not fancy the Lotus fettled hatch?

Absolutely not, I wanted a coupe and this one was (unsurprisingly) dirt cheap.

The GTI has the same engine but the ecu etc is Proton as opposed to mitsu
That means diddlysquat on mine because I use an Evo ecu anyway.

Mine also sits on the same suspension as the GTI, although the Lotus ARB mounts higher on the struts on the GTI.

    Track day sometime soon?

By the way the GTI makes the most incredible track car . Lots running round and p!ssing off so called quick car owners.
