Sound I don't often go on msn tbh. Nah never saw that. I work away a lot in the spring and summer months so I probably wouldn't have been around. What you got now then?
Right, it's just ended and didn't meet it's reserve. Hopefully someones not made an offer thats been accepted, as I'm happy to pay the reserve price if it all looks Kocher. Going to have a ganders this week fingers crossed. Just gotta wait for the bloke to get in touch. This will replace my Mk2 Punto as my daily driver. I must be f*cking mad.
No he doesnt have a thread pal, he isnt that type of character and CN doesnt have a massive archieve like PSC does.
I only found out recently, he must have had it hidden away for years!
thats a real shame man, be nice to see the progess.
Well i hope u get it kyle, be well good to tinker with.
Do own a burgandy mk2? if so I KNOW WHERE U LIVE muhahhha! lol
The thought is there, dont think it will be as fast as you think. Good concept though.
This is my main concern. That and it might be held together with pritt stick. 136bhp, 735kgs = 188bhp/ton.
My stripped Seb2 GT say 170bhp/940kg = 183bhp/tonne (and I have a TT Stage 1 waiting to go on)
This is why I want to see it in the flesh. And I want to see it in anger. Do the same rules apply with it being a motorbike engine revving to 12,000rpm though?
Depending on which engine year it is, it could be making its peak power at 11250, and with this engine it makes 77 ft lb of torque, at 9000rpm
The thing is, at higher revs is when thee is the most strain on the engine, you'd feel when it had nothing else to give pulling wise in the shell, you might find its only any good above 6000pm and then flat above 9000rpm, will sound the bollox though.
If it was me id of done a B16 on throttles.
