Given how quiet the forum is these days I suspect this question will not get many replies but anyway to the few guys that can still be bothered........
Last year when removing my cambox (for the first time) I removed all the bolts that hold it onto the head except for the hidden bolt that sits under the cam sprocket cover. Tried to do it thinking the sprocket didnt have to come off. Anyway i undid all the bolts and the force of the valve springs pushed the whole top end assembly up at the gearbox end. The cambelt end was still firmly held onto the head by that one bolt so the cambox was sat at an angle about 15mm higher at the other end.
I eventually spotted my mistake put some bolts back in and brought the cambox down again then removed the sprocket and hidden bolt so that i could then remove the cambox from the engine.
Could this have caused any damaged anywhere?
