1997 Fiat Punto GT Abarth - being restored
2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake
i've got a 1.5 dci megane on a 52 plate and its doing about at a guess 58 mpg but i dont really screw it as there isnt the power there to use but its a good runner even with the added weight of bigger wheels.
I have that for sale if your interested??
looks dont come into it mate, the question is about MPG, hense the first post in this thread! what your talking is bollocks yes, as a 1998 clio will have out dated features, compared to and 06 model blah blah blah! if you cant tell the difference between a 1998 clio and a 06 clio u must need your eyes tested, just look at the reg u plum!
Also whats the point in buying a 1998 clio, when the amount you will be spending to keep it on the road will eventually add up to the price of a new motor, as he is doing high milage, hence the need for 60 mpg. As said previously if you brought an 04 -06 reg or summit along those lines, you are likely to get some sort of warranty with it!
have u thought about car auctions matey, as schemes such as motorbility, marshall leasing etc... some times come with a warranty of some sort, and these days at auction you can pick up an 08 plate at auction for the same price as an 06 plate on the forecourt! were do you think main dealers get most of the new second hand stock from ehhhh???
also as the time the way they are the second hand car market is booming, so traders will be the ones at auctions, and they hardly ever bid over trade price for a car!
hope this is of help mate!
And how strained is the engine to hold 90 though...
Don't beleive it gets that for one second tbh
