    CLEANSING DIPPED
HEAD PRESSURE TESTED TO 80 psi
VALVE GUIDES CHECKED AND REPLACED IF REQUIRED
VALVES REFACED OR REPLACED IF NECESSARY
VALVES SEATS REFACED AND VACCUM TESTED
HEAD REFACED BY THE MINIMUM AMOUNT
ALL PARTS CLEANED AND ASSEMBLED WITH NEW SEALS

'if necessary' not really a good run down of what its had done tbh.

It will fit a GT but not ideal, be a good base for serious head work though.

80psi? Will need to withstand a lot more than that, or is that a normal pressure that they test to?

I did think that. I can imagine its an industry standard to test too. As yoru forcing air against something thats already shut, i imagine if it can take 80psi with no leaks it would be safe to assume it could take 800psi etc.

Whether it could take the heat aswell as the high compression though is another question.

I take it the head is from a non turbo model? Is it as strong as a gt head, or strong enough to be used on a turbo'd application?

it doesnt really say if its from a turbo, but lots of people go on about using tipo or uno heads purely because there stronger.

It will be fine itself, its wether the valves, seats and guides are upto the heat.

Larger valves are probably a must aswell.

Looks alright. You'll need to use GT valves though, as these are heavier. Valve sizes are the same. It's the equivelant of a GT3 head, that is.

No strength differences between GT/Uno/Tipo - they're all the same. Tipo lends itself to larger valves slightly better, that's all, but you don't really need them as they cause problems in their own right.. that's another discussion though.

not bad for 200 quid tho, would be better if it came with a bit more warranty?

so will that fit on all gts? caus i thought gt 1 &2 heads were different to a gt3?

Yes it will. It's just like a GT3 head. Higher compression, that's all. You want that anyway, low comp big boost is for fairy boys and Ford owners!
