they dont come apart mate. I had to buy a whole new linkage. Mine is currently tied down, has been for years.

the part i'm after Cat should do in theory, its the part with the cup to go over the silver ball. i cable tied mine the other day but slipped off again.
we tried to take the bit off my spare linkage but its welded on - hence using the string lol.
whats the best way of tying it/cable tiying it on? i done this at the weekend but came off after a while, any pics would be helpful if poss. ta
i used that bendy metal like they sell in garden centres, wraped it about 5 times round but it did snap - that was on there about 3 years. It is currently done with string but that wont last long at all.
