my peugeot 309 gti (picture heavy)

    hi all

thought id put some pics up of my other car when im waiting to pick up the gt on the weekend, if your interested that is

its a 309 goodwood gti (which are quite rare) which im half way through putting a 2.0 8v turbo engine in out of a 406 in it

the first conversion did was a twin weber carbs with a high lift cam which looked like this

at the moment the car is like this. although i have the engine and bits ready to go in

mainly because of all the snow

My mum used to have a black git, i remember it being rapid.
What was it running before and should it be running after new engine.
Love the grandpa wooden steering wheel lol.

thats a standard momo wheel lol im not sure on the look but its the best steering wheel ive ever had (except when its freezing)

these go for over £100 on ebay believe it or not

that engine ran at around 7 secs, with the turbo engine though and the mods ive got planned it'll be at least a second quicker again

it doesnt weigh that much for a medium size car (930kg) plus its the best handling car imo
