    If you knew anything you'd know the engine design is from the late 50s i think or early 60s.

    The deisgn is old and Fiat were reknowned for poor casting and/or poor materials. Given the vast majority of GTs recieve abuse regardles wether they are 130hp or 330hp they will all get hot and crack.

    i can find some dan but they have small cracks

    etc,







    i showed them to my gf's uncle whos doing the work, he said nah cause its just gonna get even worse, and iam better off trying to find a mint one.

    Obviously its best to have non, but ive taken about a dozen cylinder heads off now and all have been cracked between the valves, and didnt cause an adverse problems to the engines running. Was always something else.

    If the crack goes fromt he valve to the cylinder wall and to the water jacket then your up **** creek but only one heads been cracked anywhere but from one valve to another.

    Had two tested and came back good for compression and vaccuum, and one hasnt, its hit and miss.

    yeah i agree completely. across the valves are nothing to worry about. they still work fine as i told you mate.

    i got this quote from racing company that produce's Performance heads

    It usually cost £250.00 to get the heads checked welded and re checked. If you want to know more about this ring me on
    so might do this.
