just a quicky, being that you have it sorted now i can hijack the thread

John/mags, is it true that the parking fine is against the driver and not the car and unless they can prove you are the driver you can get out of it?

What, like a council one?

Tickets are against the registered owner of the car at the time the ticket was issued.

My nan sold her car and the bloke didnt register it, she got hit with a £280 fine and it took her 7 months, court and thousands in costs to get out of it, all re-imbursed of course.
