Hey exactly like my dads except for the wheels and it's a poxy 318i but he's got a hard-top for the winter months (all 12 of them). It's a nice car tbh, very comfortable, handles well and rwd
BMW,, straight 6, they sound great, RWD so watch out for the arse end coming out..Totally different to driving our FWD Punto's so watch out!!! I had 520i and it was awesome.. My mate has the 528 coupe.. He lost the rear-end going to Castle Combe and did not make it on the track...Whoops..Germany build so no worries with it breaking down.. Service bills can be a little high and so to are spare parts..But you cant have it all..

most common thing on them to go is rear brake pipes, they go above the fuel tank and are a **** to replace, check they aint rusty.

they also suffer from wishbone bushes and ball joints, water pumps, viscos fans, other stuff too but thats the most common.
lovely cars mel. came extremely close to buying one about a year ago. My mate has M3 Evo in E36 shape and it flies, very tail happy
