Stiff gear changing on a HGT

    Hoping someone can help me...

My HGT has been off the road for about 3 months... long story..... now got the car back but gear changing is very stiff from 1st to 2nd and 2nd down to 1st.. I know DanHGT does a how to guide on sorting out the stiff gear change... but unfortunately there are no pics as to what I should be looking at...
Just wondered if anyone has some pics on what I should be looking at...

    Thanks in advance

Take the battery tray out and you'll see this on the top of the box,

Undo the nut and gear selector cable (just pops off) slide the shaft out to clean it up, it should be a nice loose fit. Don't grease/oil it else the gearstick will be sloppy.
