My laptop's caught aids

I thnk i've downloaded something dodgy (haven't we all ) Evertytime i try to type something the letters are all jubled up and diferent to the keys i'm pressing. i've updaed my AVG Antivirus and run a scan but it's not picking anything up. I'm using the sh1tty on screen keyboard to type this what a joke! any ideas please? ciao x

Might be something to do with the region your keyboard is set to?

I haven't changed any settings, if i press a key it will come up as cxv## for example lol!

ok iv just done a system restore to last friday and it's still the same. when i rebooted, it started spazzing out- tons of search windows kept opening and i hadn't pressed a thing. this dinosaur of a laptop really is a crok of sh1t

Ignore it, my laptop randomly does exactly the same thing, its just old and crap really, if it happens just save whatever you're doing and reboot

The onscreen keyboard is w Ank. I had to use it for weeks!Pain in the ass.
